MISSION
Our Mission is to support, educate and empower families who have children with disabilities and special healthcare needs.
Values
C.A.R.E. aims to bring resources, education, and high quality trainings to effectively teach advocacy skills for birth to age 21 to individuals with special needs, parents and their support team in a personal and compassionate atmosphere. We believe that through strong advocacy, all children and individuals can achieve a higher level of healthy growth and development.
C.A.R.E. strongly believes that by providing these services, tools, and trainings, parents can become empowered to advocate for the needs of their children. We believe that through collaboration, individuals with special needs, parents, professional caregivers, schools and the local community can create a strong, important and lasting bond that can help to contribute to the well-being of society as a whole.
C.A.R.E. recognizes that navigating the special education system can be needlessly scary and confusing. We remain dedicated to listening and supporting individuals, parents and their families. We believe that by fostering a parent helping parents program, we will be giving trained parents the opportunity to give back to the community by creating another layer for a supportive and caring network for families of special needs children.
